Noted to be the last farm in Nutley the private space at the end of Clover Road in Nutley was acquired by a developer who proposes to build several houses on the site.

Before town commissioners could draft, approve and implement its recent tree preservation ordinance, the developer clear cut the former farmland, leaving behind stumps scraps and grass.

A sign of the times as Nutley in the 21st Century sees all its grand old trees slaughtered while McMansions replace the charming homes that give the character people move here to enjoy.
